Description

The Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) opened on November 2, 2001, and is jointly owned by the Shanghai Lujiazui Development (Group) Co. Ltd., Deutsche Messe AG, Messe Duesseldorf GmbH and Messe Muenchen GmbH. The SNIEC is strategically located in Pudong's key economic development zone, 600m away from the Longyang Road subway station and only a 7 minute ride on the Maglev train from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

The Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) is China's leading expo center, boasting state-of-the-art facilities and featuring a prime, easily accessible location, a pillar-free, single story structure and a wide array of expert on-site services. It now hosts more than 60 world-class exhibitions each year and this number is set to grow in the future. The famous events held here include Auto Shanghai, CIIF, and ShanghaiTex. Currently, the SNIEC has 9 exhibition halls with 103,500 square meters of indoor exhibition space and 100,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition space.

The SNIEC plans to complete of all its facilities and reach full exhibition capacity by 2010. By then, the Center will house 200,000 square meters of indoor floor area and 130,000 square meters of outdoor area. The SNIEC is a multi-functional venue that also caters to a diverse range of both social and corporate events. VIP rooms, a business center, convenience stores, a flower shop, furniture-leasing, advertising and printing services are all available on-site.
