Unquestionably the most well-known seafood joint in Qingdao, Yijing engages the customer with excellent service and unlimited choices. There are no menus in this pricy aquatic haven. Instead, attendant waiters guide you through the point-and-choose selection process among their numerous aquariums, even giving you a list of cooking-method options. By Western tastes, the service is often overdone to the point of being ridiculous, but guests should remember that this is locally considered the epitome of customer care. Be warned, however: prices here often mirror four and five-star hotel dining. Two can expect to pay between RMB300-700 for a meal, and only cash is accepted.
