Located about 280km outside of Lanzhou, the Sangke Prairie is famed for its gorgeous green pastures, beautiful sceneries and lush grasslands. In the summer, the green prairie explodes into a sea of color when the flowers come out. It offers visitors a respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. During the trip, travelers can experience the lifestyle of the Chinese nomads.
Getting There: Take the long-distance bus to Xiahe County from Lanzhou West Bus Station. From there, take a taxi, a pedicab, or a rented bike to the prairie.
