The CCPIT Inner Mongolia Sub-Council and CCOIC Inner Mongolia Chamber of International Commerce are non-governmental organizations for the promotion of foreign trade and are composed of representative figures, enterprises and associations in Inner Mongolia.
The goal of the CCPIT is, under the guidance of the Government's policy, to promote Inner Mongolia foreign trade, to promote the utilization of foreign investment, to promote the introduction of foreign advanced technology and various kinds of economic and technical cooperation and to promote the mutual understanding and friendship between the people in the industrial and commercial circles of Inner Mongolia and other countries all over the world. It is authorized to organize provincial economic, trade and technological delegations and entrepreneur representatives to survey abroad and invite and receive foreign economic and trade delegations to visit Inner Mongolia. It enhances the trade and economic exchanges between Inner Mongolia and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and provides services to promote exchanges and cooperation between the industrial and commercial circles of Inner Mongolia and that of Macao and Taiwan.
Each year CCPIT Inner Mongolia Sub-council sponsors and organizes many expositions, invites international organizations to visit Hohhot and contributes to investment promotion in Hohhot.
