This gallery is located in the city center, covering an area of 4600 square meters. The gallery is a local institution known for collecting fine art works from home and abroad as well as being a venue for various exhibitions of works including painting and calligraphy.
In 2005, the Gallery of Inner Mongolia held an exhibition of Xu Beihong's Paintings to mark what would have been the 110th birthday of this modern Chinese master painter.
