The Anhui International Exhibition and Conference Center covers an area of 150,000 square meters, including two exhibition halls and a commercial hotel. Located in the Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, it has an excellent geographical location, 5 km from the Hefei Luogang Airport in the east, 8 km from the West Railway Station and next to the 206 and 312 national highways and the Hurong Expressway.
The multifunctional hall can hold up to 1,500 people for conferences or 1,000 people for dining and banquets. There is a 320-seat conference hall with 5 simultaneous interpretation systems, a 186-seat conference hall with 2 simultaneous interpretation systems, a VIP lounge, a negotiation room and leisure room. There are five indoor exhibition halls and a 20,000-square meter outdoor exhibition field. There are also commercial centers, Chinese and western restaurants and underground parking facilities.
The Center was put into operation early in September 2002. By now, it has successfully held 55 large-scale national and international expos such as the "Anhui Auto Expo", the "2002 Hefei International Garments Expo", the "Second Hefei New and Hi-Tech Project Capital Conference", the "Second National Agricultural Product Exchange Fair", the "WTA (World Technological Association) Committee Conference" and the "Chinese Entrepreneurial Association-Chinese Enterprise Union National Conference".
