This natural paradise comprises an 800-meter-long stretch of sand and a massive park area that's decorated with beautiful flowers and foliage. Visitors can reach the cliff tops for a panoramic view of the bay.
With fine sand and moderate waves, the beach is ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Not far from the beach is a small, rocky island which, according to a local legend, marks the spot where an army of cuttlefish triumphed over the sharks in a major ancient battle. Locals believe that the area will never again be troubled by sharks, and is thus a safe spot for swimmers!
The park is known for its fantastic getaway feel and amusement park rides that include a giant ferris wheel. Travelers coming to Xinghai Park usually visit Sun Asia Ocean World. It has more than 200 different species of marine life, complete with viewing platforms and underground tunnels.
