The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Qinghai Sub-Council (hereinafter referred to as CCPIT Qinghai Sub-Council) is a branch of the State CCPIT at the provincial level approved by the State Council. The CCPIT Qinghai Sub-Council and CCOIC Qinghai Chamber of International Commerce are non-governmental organizations for the promotion of foreign economic and trade ties, made up of representative figures, enterprises and associations in Qinghai Province. Their purpose is to promote the utilization of foreign investment, promote the introduction of foreign advanced technology and economic and technical cooperation and to promote the mutual understanding and friendship between the people in the industrial and commercial circles of Qinghai Province and other countries all over the world.

The CCPIT Qinghai Sub-Council and CCOIC Qinghai Chamber of International Commerce attached great importance to the establishment of their network system throughout the whole province. Up to now, there are 22 branches and 19 chambers of International commerce at the county-level and more than 7,000 enterprises belonging to this network. The CCPIT Qinghai Sub-Council and CCOIC Qinghai Chamber of International Commerce have signed friendship and cooperation agreements with chambers of commerce and industry, associations for trade and economic departments of governments of more than 100 countries all over the world.
