Specializing in "snack feasts"and traditional Shaanxi cuisine, Xi'an Restaurant consists of two floors that might as well be two different restaurants. The ground floor is a diner serving inexpensive local food, while the second floor offers elaborate, multiple course meals and imperial cuisine.
Perhaps most interesting is their unique "medicinal snack feast", every dish of which is reputed to have some therapeutic effect on one's health and well-being. On request, waitresses will explain the medical benefits of each new snack as it is being presented.
