Wuhan Gymnasium, situated on Chongren Road in Qiaokou District, Hankou, was built in April 1956, and is the earliest large-scale indoor gymnasium in Hubei. With an area of 56,000 sq. meters and a total floorage of 14,490 sq. meters, it has a seating capacity of 3800. Wuhan Gymnasium is fully equipped to host basketball, badminton, table-tennis, boxing, weight-lifting, wrestling and gymnastics matches.
