Shenyang Olympic Sports Center, completed in 2007, is a multi-use sports facility consisting of a stadium, gym, swimming center and table tennis hall. The stadium is one of the five Olympic football venues for the 2008 Games, along with Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Qinhuangdao. With a gleaming glass exterior and a 2,000-square-meter petal-shaped transparent roof, the stadium has a capacity of more than 50,000.
