island6 Arts Center is a production site and adjoining gallery for the cutting-edge, new media artwork of the island6 art collective in Shanghai. The production studio is equipped for all manners of creation–from painting to carpentry to film shoots–while the spacious gallery is used for thematic, interactive exhibitions. Since its founding in 2006, island6 has featured hundreds of international artists collaborating in exhibitions to celebrate contemporary art, technology, and cross-cultural dialog.
