Established in 1975, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Sub-Council is a regional economic and trade promotion organization under the leadership of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Subsequently, it adopted another name-China Guangxi Chamber of International Commerce in 1988. Members included from local and provincial governmental agencies, appointed representatives, enterprises or corporations, and members from Guangxi entrepreneurs.

The goal of the CCPIT Guangxi Sub-Council is to promote trade, investment, economic and technological cooperation between Guangxi and other countries and regions around the world. Additionally, it hopes to enhance the mutual understanding, friendship, economic growth and trade between Guangxi and the rest of the world. The CCPIT Guangxi Sub-Council & CCOIC Guangxi Chamber of Commerce has cemented cooperation with a number of agencies in many countries by signing agreements with corresponding organizations in 18 countries and regions, in hopes to accelerate trade and economic growth.

All agreements play an important role in the development of international trade and contribute to the Sino-foreign economic communication and cooperation.
