Description

The library was first established in 1920; in 1993, a new library opened its doors to the public providing more space to enjoy much of its literature. Today, the library is reputed as the largest public library in Jiangxi province, which stores more than 2.6 million books including ancient precious books. Its prized book collection includes the Collected Edition of Ouyangwengong from the Southern Song Dynasty and Jiangxi Tong Zhi from the Ming dynasty. The library has special collection department, the reading and borrowing department and a children's books department.
