Located in the center of Harbin and built in 1968, the Heilongjiang International Exhibition Center has a total floor area of 42,500 square meters. There are about 20 departments operating in the Center including for exhibitions, economic and technological cooperation, comprehensive development, advertising, photography, decoration, culture and entertainment, labor, transportation and catering. The Center receives exhibitions and sales activities from both home and abroad and is an important multifunctional and comprehensive place for political, economic, trade, cultural and sci-tech exchanges.
The main exhibition hall is 15,000 square meters, with room for over 900 international standard display booths. The Center also has many auxiliary rooms including rooms for offices and small and medium-sized conference rooms. Hundreds of exhibitions have been held in the Center, sponsored by domestic companies as well as foreign countries such as the US, Japan, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Germany, South Korea, Italy and Canada, involving thousands of trade companies.
