China (Heilongjiang) International Agricultural Machinery Expo
The annual CHIAME was first held in 2004. The last event covered an exhibition space of more than 35,000 square meters and was attended by 35,000 decision makers from government and agricultural departments, manufacturers of agricultural machines, technicians, and other users of agricultural machinery. The 247 exhibitors represented China, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands and the USA.
The previous two CHIAME events were promoted only on the Chinese mainland. As a result, most of the exhibitors were local Chinese companies or Sino-foreign joint ventures. Thus, the organizers have decided to promote CHIAME 2007 around the world, expecting more participation in the fair by overseas manufacturers and suppliers of the up-to-date agricultural technology and equipment.
