Description

Chongqing has a major airport that serves the city and its surrounding area with flights to many cities in China, as well as several international destinations such as Seoul, Tokyo, Nagoya, Bangkok, Munich-Germany, and Düsseldorf-Germany.

The airport is located about 20 kilometers outside of the Chongqing's urban area, and is easy to access by shuttle bus from the city. A taxi from Chongqing is unlikely to exceed RMB100.

The airport offers shuttle service to the city. Shuttles stop at several stations including Jiazhou Garden, Foreign Trade Plaza, Shangqing Temple and Coral Garden. Shuttle departure depends on flight arrivals.

To the airport:
There are shuttle buses to the airport from Shangqing Temple. The shuttle offered by CAAC has a number of pick-up and drop-off stations including Jiangbei China Southwest Airline Ticket Office (outside the Cygnet Plaza). Buses travel at regular intervals with some shuttles departing every 20 minutes while others depart every half hour. Last shuttle departs to the airport at 8:00 pm.
