The establishment of CDFIPC (Chengdu Foreign Investment Promotion Center) was formally announced on 12th October, 2004. On behalf of the Chengdu Municipal Government, these professionals will be focusing on information research and the initial phase promotion of the foreign investments in Chengdu. The director general of MOFTEC (Municipal Bureau of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation of Chengdu) presides as the director of the Center. Additional staff members were recruited from diverse careers in order to give it a holistic approach. This elite group of selected individuals can be considered a highly qualified team that brings a wealth of knowledge and an abundance of experience from foreign founded enterprises and diverse areas.
