Description

Hunan library was officially established in 1904. The library's claim to fame is Chairman Mao Zedong. It is said that he studied at the library in 1912 for at least six months: whether or not this is true, it is definitely a great learning institution. The library is comprised of 4 reading buildings, 12 rooms stacked with literature and periodicals. The library features more than 800,000 ancient books and newspapers including hundreds of reliable texts from the Song , Yuan and Ming dynasties and hundreds of manuscripts of Ming and Qing dynasties.Additionally, the library provides training classes.
