Founded in 1978, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing), also known as the China Chamber of International Commerce Beijing (CCOIC Beijing), is a government-supported, non-profit institution operating as a corporate entity and aimed at promoting foreign trade and investment, with over 4,000 existing member enterprises.

CCPIT Beijing is a member of the World Trade Center Association and is a bridge between local and foreign enterprises and government. CCPIT Beijing provides many services to its members and also organizes exhibitions and trade fairs, in which member companies can expose their goods to world markets and sign trade deals. The most famous exhibitions held by CCPIT Beijing include the Beijing International Sci-Tech Expo, the International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation, Frozen Food Processing, Packaging and Storage and the China World Elevator & Escalator Expo. Other services it provides include business certificate issuing, legal and arbitration services and consulting services.
