One of two branches in Beijing, the Megabox Cinema offers luxury seating, quality sound system and the choice of sweet or salted popcorn (a deal-breaker for many expats). If you sign up for a MegaPass membership card, you’ll be entitled to a 50% discount between Monday and Thursday, and a 30% discount from Friday to Sunday. Megabox has facilities for showing 3D films, although the quality isn’t the best around. But with the membership discount, it’s a cheaper option than many other Beijing cinemas.
